Volleyball Canada will be hosting the U21 Men’s National Team Program this summer at the National Training Centre in Gatineau, QC. The program will provide identified athletes with a full-time training environment that focuses on technical and tactical development in preparation for the 2025 U21 NORCECA PanAmericain Cup and the 2025 FIVB Men's U21 World Championships. Athletes will have access to a full coaching staff and integrated support team to guide their development and growth as a high-performance athlete. Volleyball Canada will select athletes from across Canada with the attributes consistent with high performance and the potential to compete for Team Canada’s Senior Men’s National Team in the future.

All athletes MUST:

• Be born in 2005 or later
• Be Canadian citizens and have a valid Canadian passport to December 31, 2025 or later
• Have Canada as their Federation of origin

Selection Timeline:
March 3: GMTM platform open for submissions
March 24: Athlete submissions are due
Week of March 31: Athletes notified of the selection
June 11-17: U21 Selection Camp
August 3-11: 2025 U21 Pam Am Cup
August 21-31: 2025 U21 FIVB World Championships

Athletes selected through the online identification process will be invited to the U21 Selection Camp from June 11 to June 17, 2025, at the Centre Sportif de Gatineau, QC. Athletes aged 20 or younger will be selected to participate in a full-time daily training environment that focuses on technical and tactical development in preparation for the 2025 U21 Pam Am Cup, which will be held in Calgary, Canada, from August 3 to 11, and the U21 FIVB World Championship in China from 21 to 31, 2025.

• Registration fee on the GMTM website: $60USD
• Selection camp fee:
  • Option 1: $500 (camp only). Hotel and meals NOT included.
  • Option 2: $1000 (camp + hotel). Meals NOT included.
• Program fee: Athletes selected to the Program will be required to pay a $3500 program fee/fundraising obligation. The money raised from these fees will be used to offset travel, training, and competition costs for the program. Please note that the program registration fee does not include food and accommodations.
• All athletes selected to the team will be nominated for Sport Canada assistance (carding) for the allowable minimum of 4 months at $1305/month. Athletes will also receive tuition support up to a maximum of $5500 per year (covers tuition in Canadian Universities only).
